2010 will be an exciting year for new fashion, technology, music, movies, and cars. Fashion trends are being set every day. Wallabies, Moccasins, suede boots, and Uggs are the most popular shoes for fall 2010. “I try to be as trendy as possible, I like to dress as good as I can while wearing the latest trends,” said junior Chase Bussell.

Patagonia, Northface, and Columbia are popular jacket brands. Pea Coats can also be found on many girls at Chapin High School.

“I have each of these brands, they are warm and fashionable I love them.” sophomore Morgan Chapman says.

Blackberries, I-phones, the Droid, and MyTouch are the must have phones this year. “I got a Blackberry for Christmas this year, with the touch of my finger I can do almost everything from my phone,” said junior Brandon Amick.

This year will be shocking for new music. This month O.A.R. will be releasing a new album called “Rain or Shine” along with Motion City Soundtrack, and Drake.

“Drake will be the next big thing, he is already amazing so this year will be big for him,” said junior Connor Cunningham. These are only a few of the long list of artists coming out with new music releases. Rapper Lil’ Wayne a.k.a Weezy will be going to jail for a year. His absence may give other rappers a chance to steal the spotlight in 2010. “When Weezy gets out he will most likely release the most epic mixtape ever created,” said junior Tucker Auch.

Television is at its highest this year. From Reality TV to sitcoms, this year’s newest and most popular shows are Jersey Shore, Modern Life, Secrets of Aspen, Teen Mom, and Tosh.0. American Idol and The Office are shows that have been and will be popular in 2010.  “Community is the greatest show on the face of the earth, right after Tosh.0,” says junior Ryan O’Neill.

From shoe trends to music trends, one thing is for sure, 2010 will definitely be a year of creativity.
