Over 200 students and staff participated in this school year’s second blood drive. The Red Cross set up a collection center in the Band room to accomodate the large number of volunteers. A record breaking 119 units were collected during the course of the drive. Officials estimated that close to 350 lives could be saved because of CHS student efforts. The event was hosted by the Junior Civitans and their sponsor Mrs. April Worley.
