The holiday spirit was present when three groups of students from Fine Arts held Christmas concerts over December.  Orchestra, Chamber Chorus, Concert Band and Jazz Band performed at various locations in the community to bring the holiday spirit to Chapin.

The Concert Band performed December 7 in the old gym.  The Jazz Band joined them along with the Percussion Ensemble to play such holiday favorites as Festival of Ancient Kings and Sleigh Ride.

The Chamber Chorus held their performances December 11 and 12.  The concert was part of the holiday giving project. Guests were treated to seasonal hits like Santa Claus is Coming to Town, We Wish  You a Merry Christmas, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.

The Orchestra’s Winter Concert was December 8 at Chapin Presbyterian Church.  Both the Advanced Symphonic Orchestra and Masterclass performed led by Mr. Vincent Washington.  The played a wide range of songs from Symphony in G Minor to Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
