Olivia Fitts-reporter

Hey I’m Olivia. This is my first year on newspaper staff and my last year at Chapin High School. I plan to major in journalism and human rights. Hopefully I will be attending University of Chicago or Northwestern U next fall. I also enjoy theatre, creative writing, and film production. My dream job would be a traveling reporter for National Geographic. I hope to live for a couple years in Europe. I plan on learning Italian, the most beautiful language. I have two older sisters and one younger brother. The two oldest ones are both in college, one at SCAD and one at Tulane. My dad is a forensic scientist and my mom a realtor. I’m a big family person and love going on vacations with my family. I am grateful I had the privilege to grow up in Chapin, but lately the town feels suffocating. Harry Potter is awesome :)

I can wake board, water ski, knee board, and, of course, tube. I’ve got a dog named Sam who is going blind, so he runs into things a lot.
